Blades Williamson, CEO of the Amy Winehouse Project and a graduate of Loyola Marymount University’s Drug and Alcohol Counseling Program. Born in London, UK, Blades entered directly into the foreign exchange markets in the “City” of London just after high school.
After working on the trading floors of London, New York, Los Angeles, and Tokyo, he retired from the markets in December 2013 and decided to pursue his passion for recovery and helping others. Blades has volunteered and worked full-time at a prominent Malibu rehab facility, gaining him valuable experience in the core functions of addiction treatment, and brings over 10 years of sober experience to the Amy Winehouse Project, being an active member in the rooms of London, Los Angeles, and Florida.
Blades has been married for 30 years and is the father of three beautiful daughters. He is a cancer survivor, expert of the financial market trading floors, and a finisher of multiple ultra-endurance events. Blades is a true leader and a model of recovery for the Amy Winehouse Project community.
